Strengthening ROBART China with new Vice President
Austria based global leader in AI robotic navigation technology, has announced the opening of its new branch in Shenzhen, China.
LINZ, Austria, Nov. 1st, 2019 – Founded in 2009, ROBART has focused on advancing navigation technology with more than 70 registered patents and in April of 2018 was 80th on Financial Times list of 1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies 2018. The move to expand forms a key part of ROBART’s global strategy to locally support customers in the core markets to continue that growth.
Michael Schahpar, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ROBART China, explains: “Our vision is to become a major player in the Chinese market by supplying our customers with the best Artificial intelligence solution for consumer robots”.
Wernher Roesler, Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Robart GmbH, was tasked with creating the global strategy and finding the right people to lead the expansion: “China, as a tremendously growing market in the business field of Artifical Intelligence and an open market for intelligent and innovative products, requires special attention for all business partners.”
Knowing the importance of high level customer support in both, the strategic cooperation, as well as the day-to-day business, it was a great challenge to get the right person involved. With this focus in mind, we are extremely happy and proud to welcome Justin Lee in his newly built position as Vice President Sales China to the ROBART family.
Justin has multiple years of experience in both local and international sales, great knowledge in business development and a strong background in project management and engineering. He will overtake the responsibility to develop and support the ROBART business in China, effective immediately.
